The east

Trying to remember why in the first place I put myself through all this. So that I can be where I want to be since I was young. Not that I am exactly in the ideal place, but simply just more intimately closer to where I was when I was younger.

This is my passion I am talking about, not just something that hits you when you first joined. It already hit me when you were still not knowing exactly what you wanted to do. Have you have any idea what the word passion means? It means to me that there was something that has inspired me to do what I wanted to do, and I would commit my life into being part of that something that has inspired me to be. To be doing part of the arena that I was awed by. To finally say that now I am part of it, contributing and to continue what was being laid down by forefathers and honorably take up their role and to inspire others and the younger generation. To be part of something people can be proud of.

I just want to share the passion with people who are interested and stir up the interests and hopefully the passion. Not really so that I can be elevated to be a higher status, but rather to be with a group of people who share similar interests and be able to make the whole industry something that we can be proud of.

Not to expand it just so that someone can have their promotion nor just really for the sake of expanding it. Not that the land is unable to support it, but not expansion to the point of desperation and  making it look unrecognizable for those who spent their lives building it. This is our home. And I want to recognize it as my home.

My memories of it that made me inspired and passionate is fast fading away. And I don't want that to happen. Trying to retain all that I can before it all fades away and the whole place loses its original character and assumes a new uninspiring one.

The airport was a place that I loved to go. To see planes of all types and from all over the world. The amazing fact that it came from such a far away place and being seen here at home. I would love to see how it powers itself down the runway and generating enough power for the wheels to leave the ground and head towards the sky.

I remember how a place is able to connect to almost everywhere in the world. To me, it was the window to the world outside. The meeting place of everyone in one common location. The destination boards constantly flipping to show who goes where at what time. Its amazing how inspiring to be part of all this operations, the romance and beauty of this industry.
