The far side

I noticed lately that people always complain in whatever situation they are in. and at the end of the complaints, you;ll realised that they never like the position they are in and always comment on how the other side is always better. in short, "the grass is always greener on the other side"

the other side is an unreachable destination for once you think you get there, you would realised an even greener side. there is no escaping from this reality. even i fall into this trap very often. i guess, the only way to resolve this idealogy is to think about the less greener side. once you think about that, you would appreciate that you are at least on a side that is greener. its the same as how you see a glass. 'half full or half empty'.

to put it bluntly, you must experience hell to understand what is heaven. if you finally realised what;s hell, then you would definitely appreciate heaven much better. right? if you never been to hell, how would you know you are in heaven? because someone told you so? i personally don;t think so.

somtimes, i like to put myself in the less green position. i wonder how many people would actually want to put themself in that kind of situtation? does anyone find this kind of personality weird? but thats the only way i know what fortune i have. actually, i find it a journey of self discovery.

what do you think?
