Physics

Newton's First Law states that an object will remain at rest or in uniform motion in a straight line unless acted upon by an external force. it basically applies to everywhere. when you have started, you would not want to end it. and when you have not started anything, you wouldn;t want to begin in the first place.

it also means that one does not like changes. changes are this particular external force. people generally don;t really like changes. once they feel comfortable in a particular situation, they generally don;t like to get out of that comfortable situation. unless, the environment is already bad to start with.

that is why, the most difficult thing is to take off...and then land. because taking off takes a great deal of effort. and if you had a choice not to do it, you would not want to take off. but after you have taken off, the feeling of flying makes you feel very great. and when it is time to land, nobody wants to land.

the reason why people don;t want to take off is not because they don;t want to feel the effect of flying, but because they are more afraid that they will not be able to take off even after spending effort in it, which also means that they are afraid of failing. and the reason why nobody wants to land is even more simple, they like the effect of flying and don;t want to land.

it happens all the time and basically it is human nature.

what do you think?
