we all want to achieve our goals and dreams. but people will say that to achieve your childhood ambitions will not be easy.

but we generally don;t want it to be easy. we just want to have our chance. maybe we are not good enough, and maybe we are just good enough to be something small like a waiter. but we want our chance to find out.

the last thing to do in your life is to lose meaning of what you have been doing.

sometimes it feels that whatever you are doing has lost its meaning. that is when things will start to become a drag.

if things you do are already a drag, you have never found meaning in what you have been doing.

if you initially enjoy what you were doing and starting to feel that it is a drag, you are losing the meaning of what you were doing.

one has got to find that meaning and purpose.

why do friends quarrel? why do father and sons fight? why do couples argue? i think most of the time friction occurs due to conflict of interests. it is because each has their own viewpoints and cannot see what is common.

more importantly, i usually think why there is friction is because of lack of understanding.

when a father scolds the son, the son will naturally think his father doesn;t understand him. but when the sons talk back, the fathers will feel that their own sons don;t understand the main reason why he was scolding his own son in the first place.

thus, when there is mutual understanding, conflicts will not rise to a breaking point. there is always a bigger picture at the end of the day.

next time before you doubt anyone, or get into a conflict with anybody, think if you had considered the bigger picture, or are you still looking at your own picture?

the world does not revolve around you.
